Can You Put Tires in a Dumpster?
Most dumpster companies say no. We say yes, $20 per tire, because Colorado makes tires their own disposal category and somebody has to deal with that, so we do.
Why Tires Cost Extra Everywhere
Whole tires trap air and literally work their way back out of landfills over time, so Colorado regulates them as waste tires with separate fees and tracking at every facility. That per-tire cost exists no matter who hauls. Most dumpster companies handle it by banning tires from their containers; we handle it by taking them for $20 per tire, quoted upfront so the number never surprises you.
How It Works With Us
Trailer rental or junk removal, same deal: tires can go, just tell us how many when you book. A few tires from the garage is a simple line on the quote at $20 each. Tires on rims cost slightly more than tires off, and oversized truck or equipment tires are their own price; send a photo and you will have the real number before we load anything.
The Free-ish Alternative
If you are buying new tires anyway, the shop disposing of the old set as part of the purchase is the cheapest route there is. For a few loose tires with no purchase attached, most tire retailers take them for a few dollars each. For a pile, and old properties hide some impressive piles, larger quantities involve Colorado's waste tire program; send us a photo and we will map the real process and price.
