How Much Does Deck Removal Cost in Denver?
Most Denver deck removals run $500 to $1,500 including haul-off, or roughly $5 to $15 per square foot. Elevated decks, footings, and attached pergolas move the number.
Typical Denver Deck Removal Pricing
A ground-level wood deck around 150 to 250 square feet typically runs $500 to $1,000 torn out and hauled. Larger or elevated decks run $1,000 to $1,500, and big multi-level decks with stairs and railings can go beyond that. Composite decking costs slightly more to dispose of than wood, and decks with a pergola or patio cover on top are effectively two demos in one.
Footings and Posts
The boards are the easy part. Concrete footings are the part nobody budgets for. Cutting posts at grade and leaving footings buried keeps cost down; full footing removal adds labor and weight. We quote it both ways so you can decide.
The DIY Route
A deck is one of the most DIY-friendly demos there is: deck screws back out, boards stack flat, and a 15 cubic yard trailer swallows most residential decks in one load. Our trailer is $350 flat for up to 7 days, which turns a $1,200 removal into a $350 weekend if your back is up for it.
