An aging deck and patio cover that had seen its last Colorado winter. Demolished, loaded, and hauled in a single job, with the slab swept clean behind it.
The Job
Decks fail from the bottom up: posts rot at grade, footings heave with the freeze-thaw cycle, and by the time the surface boards look rough, the structure underneath is usually worse. This one came apart in sections, boards and framing into the trailer, hardware separated out, and the homeowner got a blank slate to rebuild on or reclaim as patio space. Total site time was under a day.
