Laundry Room Gut in Golden
Cabinets, utility sink, back wall counter, and a slate tile floor, all out and down to the subfloor. A small room, a full gut, one day.

The Job
Small rooms are all corners. The uppers and base cabinets came off the walls first, then the utility sink base and the back wall counter. The slate tile was the long part of the day: a rotary hammer under the tile and thinset, then the floor scraped flat so the new flooring goes down level. Plumbing stubs were left capped for the plumber, and the room was swept and vacuumed before we left. The homeowner cleared the clutter ahead of time, which kept the price flat.
